PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil (PCO) features a dual-base of premium synthetic and hydroprocessed base oils in formulation with proven high-quality anti-wear additives. This multi-use oil is designed for both heavy-duty diesel engines (including modern EGR units) and gasoline engines, combining versatility and heavy-duty engine protection into one cost-effective motor oil. It is formulated with high levels of dispersant and detergent additives that effectively control acids and soot thickening to help prevent corrosion, wear and deposits. AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil is excellent for all-season use in on- or off-road applications.

Maximizes Fuel Economy, Minimizes Oil Consumption and Emissions
The synthetic base oil component in AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 helps reduce oil volatility (burn-off). Less make-up oil is required to replace volatilized oil and less oil vapor gets into the exhaust stream. Oil viscosity increase is controlled, which minimizes drag for better efficiency.

Unlike other semi-synthetic oils, AMSOIL Synthetic Blend Motor Oil contains a high content of quality synthetic oils for enhanced performance. Heat and oxidation resistance are Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil (PCO) Cost Effective, High Quality API CI-4+, CF, CF-2, SL improved for clean engine operation and long-lasting engine oil service life. Dependable cold-temperature flow is assured for easier start-up and improved post start-up protection.

AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 fulfills the requirements of most public and private purchasing bids. It is API CI-4 Plus/SL, Detroit Diesel PowerGuard 93K214 and Mack EO-N Premium Plus '03 registered, making it ideal where these registrations are required.

APPLICATION
AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil is recommended for diesel engines, gasoline engines and other applications that require any of the following worldwide specifications:

MIXING AMSOIL
AMSOIL PCO is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.

Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL motor oils.

SERVICE LIFE
AMSOIL Synthetic Blend 15W-40 Heavy Duty Motor Oil (PCO) is recommended for use according to the longest service interval established by the engine, vehicle or equipment manufacturer. Drain intervals may be extended based on oil analysis.

AMSOIL Ea™ full flow and Donaldson Endurance™ oil filters are designed for extended drain intervals. They capture more wear-causing particles, have less restriction and last longer than regular filters. For best performance, use AMSOIL Ea full-flow or Donaldson Endurance oil filters.
